Daniel Jones dove in to a pile of brawling New York Giants in training camp today to show that he really cares about his teammates. The move was well received in the locker room afterwards by the Giants’ players but coach Joe Judge was livid—and barked out punishments like extra push ups and laps for all involved.

Jones may have the heart of a lion but is this the year he makes the jump to a top tier quarterback? Much will come down to how his offensive line can step up. The right tackle job should be a battle between Matt Peart and Nate Solder. Solder sat out last year but should be ready to return to form this year.

And all eyes will be on Saquon Barkley coming back from a torn ACL that kept him out of most of last year. Barkley has been careful in his return but if can come back and put up numbers to his rookie year when he went for 2,000+ yards then that would make the Giants a power in the NFC East.

The Giants went to the free agent market to get a top receiver for Jones in Kenny Golladay who signed a four-year $72 million deal. Working with Darius Slayton, Golladay should be able to get open early and often.
